Everyone knows the huge names in the reading and writing world. Books like Harry Potter or Twilight are known even by people who haven’t read them, because they’ve become such a part of pop culture. Every now and then, though, it’s good to take a step back and look at a book that isn’t as well-known, because by just reading what you know is good, you might miss something truly amazing.’The Prophecy of the Flame’ is a book series by Lynn Hardy. It is not a well-known series, but that definitely does not make it any less enjoyable. The books follow the Crusaders of the Light and their leader Archmage Reba.

The characters in the series, including the main character Archmage Reba, are normal people role playing. Suddenly, they were pulled from Earth and dropped in another world, a kingdom called Cuthburan. The people of Cuthburan quickly recruit them to help get rid of an evil horde of demons that is threatening to destroy all of the kingdom.The plot itself is interesting and keeps readers on edge. Characters develop not only through their battles and fighting, but also through their romantic moments and strategic planning. Another great thing about this series is that, unlike most fantasy books, the author takes moments away from the fighting and travelling and important scenes to sidetrack and better know the characters, especially Archmage Reba. It makes readers feel closer to the characters and gets them more engaged in the book.This is one of my favorite series. I love the characters and the plot. I love fantasy in general, but these books just have that quality that makes them different from the rest of the genre, and I love it.

Lynn Hardy is a talented writer and is also enthusiastic about getting readers into the series. When she does book signings, she dresses up in a beautiful costume as her main character Archmage Reba. It’s not well-known, but she also donates all profits from the first book in her series to Agape Assistance, a charity organization that she started in 2010 to give assistance to families in need of shelter.

‘The Prophecy of the Flame’ series combines so many interesting ideas and characters to make an amazing story. Fantasy readers will love it, but there’s also plenty that will make romance fans happy. If you’re looking for a book to read, please pick up this one.
