“Space Force” is a sci-fi comedy created by both Greg Daniels, the co-writer/producer of the well-known 2005 NBC series, “The Office,” as well as Steve Carell, who is best known for his role in the same series as the funny, albeit delusional, Micheal Scott of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. Now in its first season, “Space Force” is the ideal series for anyone who fell in love with their last comedy series. The nice thing about this series is that there is an obvious end goal in the first season, where this newly founded branch of government tries to colonize the moon. The show expertly manages to incorporate politics, such as our continued competition with China and Russia, making the series seem more real than “The Office” was. Each character has clear motives, and they develop really well throughout the first season. There is both light-hearted and dark humor to laugh at. All-in-all, this is a great series, with funny characters and an amazing storyline. 10/10 would recommend.
