A Day Worth Dying For
Making a presentation about Hispanic holidays, junior Rabia Khan celebrates with students el Día de los Muertos – a celebration honoring the lives of deceased loved ones – during lunch in the library. “We explained the importance of the holiday and what it means to people,” Khan said. “As a part of Spanish Honor Society, we wanted to raise awareness of the Spanish culture in our neighborhood.”
