Jenga

Jenga.

Jenga. Lifetime goals. Skills resources to achieve  it.

Jenga can be so thrilling, yet terrifying. Participants of the game must rely on their dexterity to keep the tower from collapsing, which creates this joyous game of Jenga. Players must be nimble, yet daring, when gambling how and where blocks should be removed to be placed on top of the tower based on the actions of the their opponents. The objective of this game is to not be the player to make the tower of blocks fall as players take turns removing individual blocks from the tower and stacking them back on top. As the game progresses, the tower becomes more and more unstable, which makes the game challenging. Although Jenga is just a handiness-based game, it can apply certain concepts as a bigger picture in my life.

In comparison to my life, I view the Jenga blocks as progress, but I reason a different way to play the game where an idea of teamwork is generated, rather than self-interest. Instead of individuals playing against other opponents, players can support each other and work cooperatively to build and develop a continuous goal of not having the tower collapse. The objective of this adjusted game is to make decisions that reflect cooperation, which leads to productivity. Individual dexterousness is what is accounted for when working productively and efficiently as a team. Just as I propose to continuously build up the tower of Jenga blocks, I also intend to work productively throughout my life.

Teamwork creates positive outcomes of productivity and accomplishments. As a player of the game Jenga, I want to play my part in working to build up. Ideologically, if the partakers of the Jenga game cooperate with one another to keep the tower from collapsing, progress can only turn out to be constructive. In real life situations, we each play our role in the team, whether it’s a club in school, or a soccer team. As a lifetime goal, I want to be productive in my part of the progress, as I cooperate with other individuals who are doing their part as well.

Life is constructed on a variety of teamwork from all sorts of activities. If the world is one team, then we should all help build progress by being a productive role in whatever action is present. From this point of view, I ultimately have the goal to idyllically create progress from my scope of opportunity. Having a motivating attitude will be a vital factor in achieving any progress, as well as a sense of support. Being encouraged by peers will also be significant in succeeding in any activity, especially if cooperation is present.

Although the Jenga tower may not be perfect throughout the process, it still remains standing, and progress is still built. I like to view my life as an on-going Jenga game, where we all are players who contribute to progress. We have the freedom to do what we want with the blocks, but we are still a team in stacking the blocks and keeping the tower stable. Although others on the team may not successfully be as productive as others, they are still a part of the team; but as an individual, I want to do my part of the progress, because as one unit, a positive outcome can be obtained.
