A Cultural Exchange

Diversity Club hosts annual fair

In a season of new beginnings, Diversity Club hosted its annual Culture Fair in the cafeteria April 13 showcasing students’ cultures, traditions and talents.

“The best part was the fashion show,” junior Eshita Velani said. “I got to spread my culture with others and show them what it looks like.”

There were dances, music, a fashion show and food from different cultures, including China, North Korea, Kenya, France, India, Nigeria, Nepal among others.

“I chose to participate because I thought it would be cool to learn about different cultures,” sophomore Asia Mosley said. “The best part of it all was dancing with the people I care about.”

The fair also provided attendees extra credit in certain classes after they got their “passports” signed at different booths.

“The culture fair was awesome,” sophomore Ayshia Foster said.” “I went to explore different talents within cultures and I got extra credit.”
