After the last dance, many students still want to have fun hanging out with their friends in a safe environment. Here is a list of a few things to do to make this night extra memorable.
Go camping: This will take a little planning ahead, but there are plenty of campsites on Lake Travis not far from the Bob Bullock Museum that will be fun for you and your group. It might even be warm enough for a midnight swim. Make sure to take a pair of extra clothes because you won’t want to be sitting by the fire with your dress or tux on.
Go to a concert: This may be a good idea if you are at prom earlier. Hip hop artist Devin the Dude performs at Emo’s East that night. Or head on over to Stubb’s and catch the Floozies for a lot cheaper than Devin the Dude if you’re strapped for cash. Both shows are all ages.
Go bowling: The Texas Union at the University of Texas has underground bowling, and it’s right around the corner from the prom location. You can even bowl in your prom attire for an unforgettable evening.
