Hope Austin
Hope Austin is a non-profit organization that helps give meals to students all over the Austin area. Hope Austin serves 95 schools and helps feed over 4600 students per week. Hope Austin has three ways for people to get involved, food donations, money donations or volunteering. Volunteers can either host a food drive or contact Hope Austin to sign up as a meal kit delivery driver. For more information, go to http://www.hope4austin.org/.
Austin Pets Alive!
Austin Pets Alive! (APA) is a nonprofit animal shelter dedicated to saving animals from euthanasia. APA provides homes for animals through shelter and fostering services. To help this animal shelter you can volunteer at their APA thrift store where the proceeds go to the animals. APA also offers in-person volunteering opportunities at the shelters. Capital Area Food Bank
Capital Area Food Bank is a non-profit organization that helps provide food to people in need all over Texas. As of 2023, the Capital Area Food Bank and the help of partner agencies have helped provide food in 21 counties and have put more than 54 million meals on tables. Capital Area Food Bank has multiple ways of volunteering: the mobile food bank and helping out in one of their gardens, pantries, kitchens or warehouses.
