The cheer team is hosting its annual fundraiser, selling Maverick-themed blankets in the Round Rock eStore and room E115. All profits will go toward cheer’s new uniforms and equipment.
“We fundraise every year because our cheer equipment is really expensive, like our mats for example,” junior Rihanna Rand said. “We share equipment with all the dance classes so our mats are really beat up, and we also don’t have lockers, so that’s another thing we’re looking to invest in.”
