Captains, Hooked
It was a chilling day on the old jolly roger, pirate Captain Hook sat in his inky cabin inspecting a storybook his right hand man Mr. Smee had fished out of one of their crocodile traps. He looked at the book carefully, making sure it wasn’t booby trapped by his feather-hatted foe Pan. It seemed as if the book was alright, so the large mustached captain started reading the book and got immediately invested.
Flash forward to about a week and the captain is still reading his book, it’s a rather long story but Hook hasn’t left his cabin since Smee brought it to him.
“Captain! Captain!” Smee screams from the deck of the ship and comes running into the cabin almost tripping over the loose floorboards of the old Jolly Roger. “What is it Smee!? Can’t you see I’m reading my story” the hooked captains says yelling at this terrified old crew man
“S-Sorry captain it’s just-”
“Just nothing Mr. Smee!! Leave before you’re sleeping with the fishes” Hook turns back to his book. “COCK A DOODLE DOOO!!” The captain hears this call from the deck of the ship and is struck with grief as he knows what lays before him, “Oh no, Pan.” The pirate captain lays his book on his desk and calls on Smee to fetch his hook, Smee with great speed bounces to the cabinet where the hook lies and grabs it swiftly. He walks over to the captain and screws the hook into the metal cavity where hook fits perfectly. “If you will excuse me Mr. Smee” Hook goes to the cabin’s door opening it only to find a brawl taking place between the Lost Boys and crew of the Jolly Roger.
Hooks looks up to see his foe
“Pan! What is the meaning of this!” The captain screams at the boy. Peter hears the call and smiles flying towards Hook but stops right in front of his face “well Captain, i thought you guys might need to be taught a lesson for being ya know, pirates!” “Please leave Pan, I am trying to read the book Smee brought me and you are getting in the way of that..” “Sure Hook, that’s probably just a cover up for your evil adult motives!” “Please peter I’m just trying to have a relaxing week” Hook facepalms and and groans loudly at Peter and tries to reason with the child. “How about this pan, you don’t bother me and I’ll…I’ll duel with you and if you win I’ll let you feed my hook to the crock but if I win you leave me alone and let me read my book” “Deal Hook!” So Pan and Hook have their fight and for a while Pan is winning but in the end Hook won the duel and Peter kept to his promise and left Hook to his book
The next day
“Finally im on the last page!”
Hook flips to the last page and sees that it’s torn out and in its place…… A red feather
