School spirit can be one of the most exciting things about being in high school, and often epitomized during pep rallies. The only problem is, pep rallies only occur a few times in one school year, and there are not many other times that students can gather to show school-wide spirit. In an effort to encourage more enthusiasm, McNeil will have spirit circles starting this year.

Spirit circles will occur every Friday that is a game day. Cheerleaders, Majestics and drumline will gather around the B wing stairs before school around 8:45. Majestics and cheerleaders will perform short dances and cheers to the beat of the drumline. The first spirit circle is scheduled for Friday, and all students are welcome to come participate before class.
