Pennies for Patients: Students donate change to help fight disease
Over the past few weeks, McNeil High School as a whole has raised $1,714.28 in classroom donations to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The class that raised the most was Al Balmer’s second period, coming in first with $396.11. The second highest amount raised was $378.56 by the Mav Store (Madeleine Williams). In third was Judy Sasaridis’ class with $213.91.
Balmer’s class will be served a pasta lunch, courtesy of Olive Garden restaurant.
