Students, from grades second to twelfth, are now able to get Office 365 for free.

Starting on Dec. 1, students and teachers began to get Office 365 for free. The package includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.

The program is a part of the district’s purchase of the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. This opportunity for families came free of charge from Microsoft as part of the agreement.

To receive Office 365 for phones, tablets and computers free of charge students and teachers simply register on RoundRockISD.org/GetOffice365 with their school Gmail accounts. For students, the package will last until the end of their senior year.

“I love not having to pay for [Office 365] and it’s a lot easier to work on homework,” junior Minha Ghani said. “Especially since I have a lot of essays in my English class.”

If assistance is needed with downloading, use the Office 365 Community, the online help center for all problems with Office 365, for answers to questions.
