The construction on eastbound McNeil Drive and westbound Howard Lane is finished, although there will be continued construction on the westbound side of Parmer lane. Traffic control devices are gone and both lanes have been restored.

“The best part about the construction being mostly finished is having two lanes back both ways because it alleviates traffic a bit,” teacher Brittany Bussell said.

With two lanes back open, students, parents, teachers and bus drivers will be able to easily navigate the road now. The remaining construction on the west side of Parmer will be finished in a few weeks.

“Now that we have two lanes on each side I’m like ‘oh my gosh we have two roads,’” senior Jocelyn Li said. “I’m still in post construction joy and glad not to be worried about running into people as much.”
