Homecoming Week
Happy homecoming! Homecoming week begins on Oct. 11. The festivities for homecoming week include dress up days, a pep rally presentation, a varsity football game and a Homecoming dance.
For Tuesday’s dress up day, students are encouraged to wear Little Miss or Little Mister shirts that are school appropriate. On Wednesday, the theme is Adam Sandler, where students can dress similarly to outfits worn by Adam Sandler. Thursday is throwback day where students dress from any decade in the 1900s. Friday is spirit wear.
The second pep rally for the school year will take place on Friday during second period. The pep rally will include performances from the cheerleading team, Sapphire and Majestic dance groups, along with band. The homecoming court for freshmen, sophomores and juniors will be announced during the pep rally as well.
The varsity football game against Westwood High School will take place at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex (KRAC) at 7:00 p.m. During halftime, the senior homecoming court will be announced.
To end homecoming week, the homecoming dance will take place on Oct. 15 at McNeil High School. The dance begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are being sold during lunches this week.
