STAAR Testing Dates
The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) will happen from April 18 to May 2. All students enrolled in Algebra I, Biology, English, I, English II and/or US History must take and pass the assessments in order to graduate.
The spring 2023 STAAR testing dates are listed below:
English I – April 18
English II – April 20
US History – April 25
Biology – April 26
Algebra 1 – May 2
Students who already have taken a STAAR years prior, but did not meet the state’s score requirement, must take it again before graduation. This also applies to students who take the test this year and do not pass. To check the status of a student’s STAAR Exams, follow the steps outlined in this document.
