Today was Inventors Say in the library. Upon entering the library past the mini front desk, students can see two tables set up with a couple of colored boxes with a variety of materials with three sign holders on each table with directions, cardstock shape ideas and illustrated instructions. There were directions on how to create a cardstock helicopter out of the materials provided.
With this event running through all three lunches, there were students coming in and out of the library with their cardstock helicopters.
“The instructions were well-written and easy to follow, making it accessible for everyone,” junior Michael Skinner said. “The first step was to carefully cut out the template from the cardstock. The library provided a wide range of colorful cardstock, allowing me to choose a design that truly reflected my personality. It was definitely fun and worth my lunch, and overall I would say it was a 10/10.”
