Cedar Ridge High School is hosting the Round Rock Independent School District College fair. The event is on Oct. 5 and is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and should come to a close at around 2 p.m. This college fair gives students the chance to discover different options for school. Admission representatives from select Historically Black Colleges and Universities around the U.S, as well as some local colleges will attend the fair. This is a great time to take a step toward the future as two scholarships will be awarded by the end of the event.
¨I am going to the college fair because it gives me opportunities to connect with people,¨ junior Kennadi Taylor said,¨ I would like to be able to get into one of the colleges and eventually get a business degree.¨
