McNeil FFA is hosting its annual Halloween on the Farm today, Oct. 30 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. It will be located at the agriculture department’s farm. There will be food, games, trick-or-treating and an opportunity to meet the FFA animals. Attendees are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and participate as lots of preparation has been put into it.
“I love Halloween on the Farm, its a great community outreach event and it’s so much fun.” President of FFA Ashlyn Eschberger said. “This year I will be giving barn tours and helping run the FFA table.”
The FFA is hoping that many people show up to celebrate Halloween on the Farm. Everyone is invited to come see what FFA is all about and they are eager for people to take part in the event.
“So far me and the other officers have been inviting people in our community along with other clubs to the event.” Eschberger said. “We invite the clubs to come so they can gain recognition for their group and so that they can host fun candy games for the kids. We Invite our friends and community so their kids can have a fun time and see what might be waiting for them when they get to high school.”
