RRISD Cancels Classes Tuesday

RRISD announced all classes on Tuesday are canceled due to inclement weather in a message to parents and students. Temperatures will reach below freezing Monday night and are expected to continue into Tuesday, with snow currently projected at 35% early Tuesday morning.

Classes are still set to continue on Wednesday, yet the district will continue monitoring weather conditions and provide information about Wednesday’s schedule on Tuesday.

I am Nikolas Russell and this is my third year on the Trailblazer staff. I work as a reporter and Editor-In-Chief for the 2024-2025 school year. I have attended UIL for feature writing twice and made regional once. When I'm outside of school, I am either working my job at Whataburger or working out at the YMCA. I'm looking forward to a new and improved Trailblazer this year!
