Choir is set to perform their final show of the year, “Follies,” on May 10, at the Raymond Hartfield Performing Arts Center. Tickets are free and there will be two showtimes, the matinee at 1 p.m. and the evening show at 7 p.m.
“Follies is the first concert where everyone gets a chance to show off how they sing, in their own way,” senior Dominique Diaz said, “I have a duet and a solo, and I can’t think of a better way to end my senior year than to perform something we’re all proud of while honoring everyone’s beautiful voices at the same time.”
The theme for this year’s performance is Six Degrees of Connection, meaning the concert will feature a diverse mix of group numbers, solos and student-led performances.
“Every class has been working really hard for our end of year concert,” senior Aviva Stanley said. “I know we’re gonna have a lot of really cool solos and small group performances as well and it’s just gonna be a good time.”
