On Monday, students and staff have no school in honor of Labor Day, a holiday that recognizes the contributions of workers.
“Labor Day is the time to take a rest and re-energize after working really hard all week,” Assistant Principal Maria Wray said.
It is also a homework free weekend, allowing students to spend time with family and friends.
“I love having Labor Day off. It’s the perfect time for me to relax, watch football, and enjoy hanging out with family and friends,” Wray said.
