The library will host a Book Swap on Friday, Feb. 20, encouraging students to refresh their bookshelves for the spring reading season.
Starting on Feb. 12, students can donate their gently used books and receive a ticket to participate in the Book Swap event.
“[Feb. 20] is officially Clean Out Your Bookshelves Day and so that’s why we thought it would be fun to do a book swap,” Librarian Amelia Lewis said. “We just started the reading challenge and thought it would be a good way for kiddos to get more books if they wanted to.”
Additionally, book club members can earn a point by participating, adding an extra incentive for students who are book enthusiasts to join in on the event.
