McNeil hosted the annual Mav Relays on Mar. 23. Out of the five schools that were invited McNeil placed second overall. The meet consisted of the usual six field events and 11 running events plus the four by eight. Varsity captain Eliana Levario enjoyed competing at her home track and believes it helped her be more competitive.
“Competing at the McNeil track made me feel like we had to win because it was our standing ground,” Levario said. “My highlight of the Mav Relays was the four by four because it was so fun to compete, I also liked watching everyone else run and cheering them on.”
