Something to Wine About
After discovering Juliet – played by junior Larissa Marks – presumably dead, junior Jackie McKenna, as Romeo, drinks poisoned wine in the theater production of Romeo and Juliet. “Our director, Aaron Johnson, told the crew that he chose Romeo and Juliet because it is on his bucket list of musts,” junior Cara Jackson said. The cast and crew prepared tirelessly since the beginning of the school year to bring the star-crossed lovers to the stage. Their work was recognized by the student body as tickets for the three evening performances sold out within a day. To accommodate more patrons, a Saturday matinee was added.
