Free will:

A phrase defining the core of human beings.

We can strive for anything we want.

We are encouraged to push the limits of our imagination

Something we bask in like sunlight

The ability to make our choices,

Choose our own paths.

The right I am supposed to have.

The thing I am denied.

The false knowledge that my life is my own.

Free will:

The freedom to be what you want,

With whomever you want,

Wherever you want.

Free will:

The thing my family took from me.

The thing I hate having.

It causes everyone to hate me.

Free will:

The fire that makes me burn with passion,

Yet destroy any relationship I’ve had

Because with my free will,

Comes the thinking,

And the longing,

And the opinions.

What takes away my freedoms.
