Part of the requirement for graduation is turning in chromebooks, as many seniors have personalized their chromebooks with decorations over the last four years, they reflect on their feelings saying goodbye.

Contrary to most Suarez only has one sticker on the center of his chromebook, he got it as an award from english teacher Macgregor Surles.
“The sticker encapsulates energy about how I feel sometimes, it’s very artistic and I like it,” Suarez said. “I just wanted to cover the dell logo that was really it, just don’t like the color it’s too silvery.”
Originally Suarez had different stickers on his chromebook, but following it getting stolen he had to change the design. After turning in the chromebook, he plans to throw the sticker away.
“Someone had stolen my Chromebook and it had a Bart Simpson on it, he was pretty cool for a while, but then the person who stole it took off the sticker and I had to replace it,” Suarez said. “Then they gave it back, I had to go to the technician person and then they got it back.”

Mehta acquired the stickers from multiple classes, she was given the majority of them from winning games like Kahoot.
“Most of these are from biology from Mrs. Katz, it’s like an award and they’re really cool,” Mehta said. “I love them, i’m really sad to take them off when I have to give my Chromebook back.”
Mehta believes that a lot of them reflect her personality, due to their connections with STEM. After turning it in she might keep one of a horse, but throw the others away.
“I’m a stem girly. I’m gonna do STEM in college, engineering,” Mehta said. “I really like the sisters in science one, because that was my first one that I ever got my freshman year.”

Cifreo got majority of her stickers as bonus items from shopping at stores like Brandy Melville. Also being a library aid, she was able to get some from the library during events like sticker day.
“It reminds me of freshman year and being excited to put a bunch of stickers on my thingy,” Cifreo said. “Something’s wrong with my Chromebook it’s really dirty from summer so it looks really gross.”
Cifreo is not really upset to let go of the chromebook she has had from 7th grade, as she often uses a personal computer instead of the school provided one. She plans on throwing all the stickers away.
“I used to have a lot of different stickers on there and then I took them all off, they’re all like, really old and dirty,” Cifreo said. “There’s literally something wrong with it, on the bottom it looks like it melted or something and I really don’t know what happened.”

Martinez also only has one sticker on the center of his chromebook, a reference to his past four years on the football team.
“ I have a McNeil helmet decal from junior or sophomore year,” Martinez said. “[Its] unique, I guess you can say, I don’t really see many people with this around.”
Giving the chromebook back Martinez feels somewhat sad, although hes not sure exactly what hes going to do with the sticker he has an idea.
“Lowkey kind of sad, this is like my identity for my Chromebook,” Martinez said. ”Like, when people see this, their like ‘that’s Frank’s Chromebook.’ So I’m gonna be sad, realistically speaking, I’m probably gonna throw [the sticker] away.”

Tolfa has received has acquired stickers randomly from the past four years, some referencing his sports journey.
“I got the skull and the guitar because I thought it was cool. I was part of the McNeil’s first official water polo team and I’m part of the swim team, ” Tolfa said. “I got this from water polo during our last tournament. I got this from swim team from our last meet.”
Tolfa likes looking at them because their a reminder of the past, hes a little sad about taking the stickers off but unlike others he hopes to conserve a few of them.
“They make me feel good, because I can remember the memories from these moments,” Tolfa said. “[They] kind of reflect my hobbies and stuff, I’ll probably I’ll try to savor them. I’m not sad about giving back the Chromebook though.”
