B Word
It starts with a whisper, a muffled huff under your breath
Spawns into a guilty verdict, a phrase used widespread
Of which is to is referred, not an oxford, often slurred
Reserved for scarlet ladies, the term is: B word
B word, double standards, let me list them all off
‘Cause you keep ‘em in a closet or you cover ‘em with a cough
Let the preacher share his sermon, let the word of truth be heard
All the reasons that you want to call a woman B word.
B Word’s for a girl when she acts like a man
what they call a girl who won’t sit down, she only stands
B Word what they call you when you step out of line
B Word what they’ll call me when I step on these mines
B Word – it’s a blister, it’s a bruise, it’s an itch
B Word – it’s contagious, and it hurts like a
B Word is the default when she pisses you off
But B word’s also used when she just doing her job
See ‘cause a woman who’s too loud takes up way too much space
Pretty lips are only good when they’re sealed shut on her face
And a lady whose legs are open just a bit far too wide
Is a B word ‘cause you judge her and you give her that title
B word, cause I turned, you down, for what, someone better?
B word, “nice guys”, I’m not your sweater weather
B word friendzoned – aw, why don’t you whine about it
Go on twitter, call her hoe, and then just cry about it
Shame on her for frontin’ face to these fools so entitled
Thinkin’ they got any game on wild stallion, unbridled
Shame on her for her right to fight, texting back “no”
Don’t want to be in the friendzone now you’re in the zone for foe.
Cause when a girl do what a man does, oh God, she’s such a sinner
Boys be playin’ all the time – and we just call them winners.
If B word is for the girls, what do we call the guys then
If they do what a B does, we just call them men and
A B word is a girl who said no, but he said yes
Bleeds through when the cops ask her “how were you dressed?”
B word, stuntin’ silence, don’t ask them right back
why they don’t ask that monster? ‘cause they’re all wolves in a pack
B word is what they call them, maul them, you, me, her
When we point out all the things that really make our women hurt
1 in 6, spread their pics, all they’re known for is their tits?
“not all men” though, that’s the mantra – I’m a tell you, bull shi-
do you carry your keys between your fingers like a jackknife
Look around, careful, hurry home because it’s at night
worried about aggressors cause you think that they just might
Push you. Pull you. “Not all men” doesn’t make it alright
But now it’s the coronation, so what do we do?
Give her a standing ovation, show them that there’s never too
Much victory ‘cause the whole wide world should be her fancy feast
Be the best, be my guest, princess, Beauty and the Beast
B Word for the girls who can’t stand it any longer
Quote “you can be the king but watch the queen conquer”
B Word for the ladies who won’t stand to be minions
B Word to the slayers who are cashing in millions
‘Cause when they take that stage, they don’t listen to that crowd
B Word’s the Be – Age, Be proud of who you are
B word’s for self love, B – I – T – C
A girl who loves herself is something that no one wants to see
B word, shred to pieces, diamond fangs for our teeth
Don’t let anybody call you fragile, worthless or weak
Your Words can never break me, not your sticks nor your stones
Not when I got a heart of steel, and bricks for my bones
And I’m a B word but I’m not scared, I’m not sad, I’m not lost
‘Cause the only B word you’ll ever call me is Boss.
