Every day I contemplate

As I try to take the stress away

I  sit down trying not to break down

I don’t throw a fit when something is not right

Instead I try to stay positive

The power of hope keeps us alive

Because there may be good through the bad

So the sad times are the past

Hope is strong

But sometimes our hope is wrong

Life is like a clock

Do not mock others

Be true to you

Because you’re one of the few

Never look back

Instead look ahead

Memories may be haunting

But I do not let them break my wings

I will look for my king

I may think it’s all a lie

But I am still going to let myself fly

Positivity is key

Patience is key

Love is key

But all of that is made from the power of hope.
