Mavericks Express Knowledge of Trivia
Sponsored by the National Honor Society, the second annual Trivia Night will be Thursday, Nov.19 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
“Hopefully there will be lots of students and staff participation and fun,” NHS sponsor Lindsey Phillips said.
The Trivia Night will be similar to last year’s. Teams will be formed in groups of six with the option of having an adult in the team and there will be eight rounds full of different trivia.
“I think students and staff participated because trivia is fun,” Phillips said.
Last year’s Trivia Night had about 20 teams participate. Event organizers expect at least that many teams.
Trivia Night is one fundraiser for NHS with proceeds counting towards the seniors’ graduation costs. A $20 entry fee per team to participate will be charged.
“I think any event involving friends, fun and trivia is a recipe for success.” Phillips said.
