A ninth case of COVID-19 was confirmed on campus in an email sent to parents and staff on Nov. 9.
There will be a case investigation, and individuals believed to have been in contact with the infected individual will be contacted.
“Those that were in close contact are required to remain off campus for up to 14 days to ensure they do not have the virus, so that there will not be any further spread,” Principal Amanda Johnson said in the email.
Anyone experiencing symptoms is encouraged to contact a physician, and anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 is encouraged to notify their campus COVID contact at [email protected].
“Operations at McNeil High School will continue as usual, and we will keep you apprised of further updates,” Johnson said.
