Round Rock ISD FAFSA/TASFA Assistance on Jan. 9
Round Rock ISD’s Counseling Services Department will offer appointments on Jan. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. to help seniors complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) forms. The appointments will take place in the Old Hopewell Building. Completion of the FAFSA or TASFA forms is a state graduation requirement for seniors planning to attend college.
The FAFSA gives students access to loans, scholarships, grants and work-study opportunities. Meanwhile, the TASFA helps cover tuition costs for colleges in Texas for students who aren’t eligible for federal financial aid.
Multiple appointment slots will be available and families can register using this link. The last day to fill out the FAFSA and TAFSA forms for McNeil High School students is Jan. 15.
