UNICEF Coat Drive

UNICEF is hosting a coat drive for children this year. Help children stay warm during the cold weather this winter by donating your good-condition coats, scarves, gloves and boots and drop them off in Erin Balfour’s room (B216). The deadline for donations is Feb. 9 then the donations will be sent to Texas Baptist Children’s Home.

“Every coat makes a difference,” Co-President Ishani Srivastava said.

On Sept. 5 at the varsity game against Lake Belton High School, junior Jarrell Gary celebrates after scoring a touchdown during the 4th quarter. Gary says that he sees that his team is excited and knows that he made a good play but still needs to keep up the good work. “ After the play, I talked to my offensive coordinator and we ended up getting a flag because of my celebration but the game still had to go on.”
