Reusing Solar Eclipse Glasses

Administration asks that teachers and students recycle their solar eclipse glasses. Andy’s on River Road is a small business in Texas looking to give back to communities by collecting Solar Eclipse glasses for students in South America for the Aug. 2024 Eclipse. If teachers want to participate in the donation, they must collect gently or new eclipse glasses from the students and drop them off in the white bag in Ms. Jones’ office (P122).

On Sept. 5 at the varsity game against Lake Belton High School, junior Jarrell Gary celebrates after scoring a touchdown during the 4th quarter. Gary says that he sees that his team is excited and knows that he made a good play but still needs to keep up the good work. “ After the play, I talked to my offensive coordinator and we ended up getting a flag because of my celebration but the game still had to go on.”

Hello! This will be my first year on the McNeil Trailblazer staff. I am the News Editor for the 2023-2024 school year. I am on the McNeil Swim team and a designer for the Yearbook. I love to drink coffee and read all kinds of books. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and puppy. I am so excited for this year!
