The National English Honor Society had their first meeting on Thursday, Sept. 26. At this meeting, they introduced their new officers and explained their plans for this upcoming year.
The 2024-2025 officers are President Durri Momin, Vice President Simrah Kahn, Public Relations Officer Namita Mahesania, Treasurer Caleb Carter and Secretary Addison Lee. The sponsor of The National English Honor Society is Autumn Goodwin.
Junior Kaitlyn Kenney said that the first meeting, “was so awesome, [it] was so quick, [I] love it.”
“People should join [National English Honor Society] because it’s just a great opportunity to find community with other people who like English and reading,” Carter said. “It’s a great thing to add to your resume and participate in.”
