Through National Family Partnership (NFP), formerly the National Federation of Parents for Drug Free Youth, the Red Ribbon Campaign will be Monday Oct. 27, through Friday Oct. 31, as a week dedicated to raising awareness of drug and alcohol violence and prevention. NFP has devoted its efforts to the well-being of youth, and today NFP is a national leader in drug prevention education & advocacy.
To celebrate Mavericks saying no to drugs there are themes to dress up each day. Monday is chosen as a day to wear red, Tuesday will be crazy sock day, Wednesday wear mismatched shoes, Thursday wear any sports jersey, and Friday wear a school appropriate Halloween costume.
