Advice and Information on Final Exams

Final exams started Friday and continued through Wednesday. This can be a stressful time. Here are some tips that could help students do their best on their finals.

“To study, I do the review sheets and look over notes and past tests,” senior Maddie Navarete said.

Students can exempt up to three exams each semester and can’t have more than two absences in that class and must have an 85 or higher. If students exempt an exam this semester, they can’t exempt the exam for that same class next semester.

EOC tested classes, such as biology, require students to take a midterm exam, but do not require a final exam next semester.

If students want to exempt, they must fill out an exemption form that is available in the cafeteria Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before school and during lunch.

“Don’t stress out and manage your time well,” Navarete said.
