Girls lacrosse competes in Westwood Tune-Up

Girls lacrosse season has started and played their first three games at the Westwood Tune-Up Feb. 3 at the Williamson Regional Park.
The first game against Saint Michaels ended in a loss.
“We were all disappointed that we could have done better,” JV team captain Alexis Munoz said. “Since it was our first game, we think it was good experience and practice.”
Both the varsity and JV teams combined to play as one at the event.
In the second game, the girls played Westwood. The game ended in a 6-6 tie.
The final game of the day proved to be the girls’ best as they overtook on the LBJ Jaguars 8-1.
“We see this as our experience, and will become stronger,” Abigail Benavidez said.
Varsity played Feb. 12 against Lake Travis but lost to 3-12.
Next play is February 28th, varsity.
