Mavericks Raided by Cedar Ridge
The Mavericks lost Friday night’s game against Cedar Ridge Raiders 34-7. Though the Mavericks started off strong, going into halftime only down 12-7, the Raiders came back strong in the second half.
“In the first half we played phenomenally with amazing defense,” junior Ronald Zheng, who was at the game, said. “But as the game went on, they lost focus on staying aggressive and let Cedar Ridge rack up points.”
McNeil now sits with a 0-7 record this season. They’re set to play Stony Point this coming Friday at Dragon Stadium.
