The McNeil Lady Mavericks softball team faced another tough defeat against Stony Point High School on Friday, April 12. Marking it their 16th consecutive loss of the season, the Stony Point Tigers handed McNeil a crushing 18-0 defeat, similar to the 10-0 loss the Mavericks suffered previously against Stony Point back in March.

“The game unfortunately didn’t end the way we had hoped for,” sophomore Bethany Adams said. “But I thought the team had a great fight, great defensive plays, and a few hits that helped us out.”

The Lady Mavs finished off their season on Friday, April 19, against Cedar Ridge High School, and are now preparing to celebrate their season at their banquet.
