Austin Grind proves to be an average spot for studying by yourself or in a small group. The drinks are good but not really worth the price of what you pay for. That being said, this shop has a wide variety of lunches and pastries compared to most other coffee shops in the area. The small tables and close seating of the shop may seem overwhelming at first, but after a while it seems more cozy and homey. The decorations and ambience add to the homey feeling, including a fireplace, music posters, comfortable chairs and warm lighted string lights.

Austin Grind does not provide an accommodating study spot. The chairs and tables are cramped into the small storefront and not very accommodating for computers, charging ports are hard to find and chairs are uncomfortable. The music was all over the place from house music to spanish music to lofi. The London Fog latte was pretty good although the lavender syrup was not mixed and gathered at the bottom. The staff was very friendly and efficient and although the drink wasn’t the best, the tomato grilled cheese sandwich was pretty good.
