From child actor to early adulthood with addiction, Lindsay Lohan hasn’t let anything get in the way of her acting comeback. Lindsay Lohan was born in New York City and started her acting career at the age of ten. As a child actor prodigy, she is best known for her roles in The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, and Mean Girls.
Although the fame for such a young star is great, there is a loss for a normal childhood, emotional development setback, and even identity crisis. Unfortunately at the age of 20, it was public that Lohan was struggling with addiction. Rehab visits after rehab visits, the child actor suffered a troubled reputation for her future.
In a 2013 CNN Entertainment interview, Lohan stated, “I’ve been court-ordered to do it six times. I could write a book on rehab. Constantly sending me to rehab is pointless. The first few times I was court-ordered to rehab, it was like a joke, like killing time.”
Lohan’s substance abuse led to a falling out in her career, ruining the young star’s public image. Producers and directors throughout the cinematic world didn’t want Lohan’s public image to ruin the launch of any possible big blockbuster. Therefore, Lohan’s career was thought to be over. After defeating all the legal issues and battles in her early adulthood, Lohan has been sober and free for 11 years. Lindsay Lohan is back!

Today, Lohan is starring in Netflix holiday specials such as Our Little Secret, Irish Wish, and Falling for Christmas. Lohan also starred in the new box office success “Freakier Friday” as her iconic role as Anna from the original 2003 Freaky Friday. Lohan’s crazy life is an inspiration and story of perseverance.
