A Round Rock ISD School Board passed a resolution in September declaring Oct. 22 as Unity Day throughout RRISD. The district encourages students to wear the color orange next Wednesday to spread awareness against bullying, hoping to send a message of kindness and acceptance for all students.
Because October is national bullying prevention month, Unity Day was started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011 as a day to create community throughout campuses.
