After tying for third in district, Maverick baseball made it to the playoffs for the third consecutive year.

Coach Andy Dawson led the team to playoffs after a tense 6-7 loss against Cedar Ridge High School to close out regulation play/.

The Mavs kick off their first playoff game on Thursday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. against Bowie High School at home. Game 2 will take place Friday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Burger Center in South Austin.

The boys are playing a best-of-three series. If game three is required, it will be played at Burger Center Saturday, May 3 at 1:30 p.m.
