Water Polo will officially return to Mcneil High School after nine years. Head coach Foss will be hosting the very first water polo camp on May 28-30. The camp will be open for all incoming or future MHS water polo players. Official Tryouts will be this summer on July 15 and 16 from 9 a.m.- 11 a.m., at the Round Rock Aquatic Center. The season will begin in August with their first tournament on Aug. 23 and the 24, and their last besides their districts, on Sept. 24.
“This is the first year water polo will be an official UIL sport, and I’m so excited to start it back up,” Foss said. “I had coached it for six years before, but since it wasn’t an official sport it was hard to navigate, so we had to stop. I am super excited to begin the season.”
