Epoch Coffee Serves as Great Study Spot

Epoch offers a very good study environment. Between the seating options (indoor and outdoor), the lighting and music, the environment is preferable for studying. They have a variety of seating options, some in dark corners, some in natural light and some outside. They also have ambient lighting and soft music playing throughout the store which is beneficial for focusing. The service was somewhat slow as only one worker was running the register and the coffee bar. The prices are very reasonable for a popular coffee shop and the options were plentiful. They offered a spring menu which included a passionfruit matcha latte, it was light and sweet with a very good quality matcha and good balance of flavors. Although the location is 15 minutes from McNeil, the drive was worth it for the food and environment the coffee shop created.

Epoch coffee is a very cozy place to study. The warm lighting and soft music creates a perfect ambience for studying. The drinks and food items are well priced and very delicious. While the small tables fill up fast there are also long tables with many seats that are also good places if you don’t mind sitting close to others. The staff is very welcoming, however it was a little slow due to only one person working. Overall, Epoch is a great study spot and definitely worth the drive.
