McNeil had a district DECA competition this past Tuesday, Jan. 9. 270 students from McNeil went up against students from the greater Austin region. They competed in a variety of business events such as Shark Tank styled pitches, 20-page business improvement papers, marketing/finance case study role plays and more. 132 students from our school qualified and advanced for State, setting a new record for our school. The State competition is scheduled for Feb. 15-17 in Houston.

This is my third year as a member of the Trailblazer staff. I'm the Editor-in-Chief for the 23-24 school year. I’m on the McNeil varsity cheer team. When I’m not at school, you can find me spending time with my friends and family or reading. I’m looking forward to a great last year on staff!
