The yearly tradition of senior walks at elementary and middle schools will continue this year through May 20 and 21. This tradition allows seniors to visit their alma maters one more time before graduation and to see past teachers and old friends. The four middle schools which feed into McNeil, Deerpark, Pearson Ranch, Cedar Valley and Chisholm Trail will be hosting senior walks.
“I’m really excited to walk through my old middle school,” senior Allison Terrell said.
“A lot has changed but I’m really excited to see some familiar faces.”
Some elementary schools that will be having senior walk-throughs are Jollyville Elementary, Wells Branch Elementary, Live Oak Elementary and more.
“I’m so excited to go back to Pond Springs because it’s in my old neighborhood,” senior Thinh Nguyen said. “[It] brings back nostalgic memories.”
