Soda is Bad For You

Soda is one of the most sugar-filled drinks you can have. Some sodas that are really bad are Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Pepsi and Sprite. Soda leads to many health problems because of how bad it is for you. It leads to diabetes, poor blood sugar and sugar rushes.

Drinking soda has no benefit to your body. It has no hydration, no electrolytes and you will get no benefit. Soda tends to weaken your bones and leads to being overweight and unhealthy. Soda causes cavities and weakens teeth, making it hard to enjoy other various foods. Soda wears your body down by giving you obesity, diabetes, body weight, heart disease, stomach problems, cancer, liver damage, infertility, bone health issues and teeth disorders.

Since soda has too much sugar, drinking it can lead to sugar rushes and behavioral issues. Too much sugar causes people to have tons of energy for a period of time and then crash. If this happens too much, your energy levels will not be good. Soda contains zero nutrients needed to be healthy. One of the main problems with soda is its caffeine levels. If you drink too much caffeine it will create problems with sleeping which is a whole nother problem.

It is possible to become addicted to soda because of the sugar. It could ruin your social life with friends and family because you will be thinking about it all the time and all you will want to do is drink soda. A little bit of soda increases your chances of diabetes by a very large amount.

One 12oz can of soda has 10-12 teaspoons of sugar which is our recommended sugar for a whole day. Since soda has so much carbonation, it hurts your stomach and throat which will lead to pain in both of those areas. If you are a young child drinking too much soda it could have an effect on how much you grow and even when you hit puberty.

People should choose a healthier option and drink water or juice. Even sparkling water is a good option. Stay away from soda. It’s horrible for your entire body and your mental health status.
