Multiple Special Olympians from McNeil were recognized at their annual banquet on May 8.
Morgan Collins took home RRISD Special Olympics Male Athlete of the Year award, while Kamand Alaghehband took the female version of the awar.

Also taking home an award for McNeil was Erin Shae Hallmark, who won Most Improved Female Athlete of the Year.
Finally, for the Mavericks, Annie Nguyen won the the award for RRISD Special Olympics Volunteer of the Year.
