On Aug. 29, The first non-scrimmage football game of the season was at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex (KRAC). The theme was western and the student section showed out.
Next up, Lake Belton meets McNeil at Tiger Field for the second game of the season on Sept. 5. The theme was originally minion, but changed to white out. Dress up in white with gold accents to support the Mavs on the road.
The next Friday night, the game against Westwood will take place at the KRAC once again for the district opener. The theme that night will be neon, use glow sticks and bright-colored clothing to cheer on the team.
The Round Rock game is on Sept. 20. Texas traditions rule this theme, mums and garters should be worn to this game to show the school spirit and continue the tradition. This game will be at the KRAC.
Next Friday on Sept. 27 will be against Stony Point at the KRAC. The theme will be red, white and blue. Dress like it’s the Fourth of July and support the team.
The next game, against Vandegrift will be at Dragon Stadium on Oct. 4. The theme for this game is pink out. The student section should wear all-pink clothes, face paint, hats, glasses, etc.
Also at the Dragon Stadium, will be the game against Vista Ridge on Oct. 11. The theme to follow for this game is Hawaiian. Sunglasses, floral shirts, leis, and much more are great ways to show school spirit against the Rangers.
The last game at the KRAC will be against Cedar Ridge on Oct. 25. The theme is jersey. All students may wear any of their favorite sports jerseys in the stands to match the crowd and show support.
The game against Manor will be on the following Friday, Nov. 1. This game will be at the Manor Complex field. Show up in bright tie dye for the most colorful theme of the season.
The final game of the 2024 football season will be against Hutto at Dragon Stadium on Nov. 8. The theme of this game will be camouflage.
